Pam Franks was doing her charting on January 23 at 4:30 p.m. and I caught Pam using one of the computers in the med room to document information on her patients for the day. Reports print out every shift with the updated information so that staff can stay on top of changes in patient's status. A patient's stats are written on the paper towel near Pam's hand, as sometimes that's all that's handy to record information onto. Not only do they keep all the drugs, narcotics, needles, tubing and applesauce behind the locked doors of the med room, it's where the chocolate usually is kept.
