High winds buffeted the Denver-Boulder area and the wildfires that burned in the Boulder area are the only topic being discussed on the evening news. Paul Aiken of the Boulder Camera got some awesome shots of the fire, and they were shown on 9News' 4:00 news report. On Jan 7 at 4:30 p.m., the wind is the topic of the day. In Lakewood, where I live, the winds are blowing hard, and outside there are pieces of roof shingles laying around. This little windsock is outside my front door, and it's getting a real workout tonight.
