Venturing out to Castlewood Canyon on Sunday evening to catch the sunset from the Canyon Ridge was met with some resistance and worry. The park closes AT 5 p.m., and they seem detached whether you make it out of the park on time or not. Clearly, those parked around knew the schedule and were long gone when we hustled back to my car at 4:55 p.m., just ahead of the gate Nazi. Gabe, Drew and Travis are all good sports when plans go awry.
