On March 3 at 4:30 p.m. I was heading south on Kipling and I just held up my D300 with the f4 12-24mm lens (Dana's favorite), set the aperture at 22 and just shot for the sun. I'm using this lens because Ray at Ray's Camera Repair has my f2.8 17-55mm lens that fell off my camera and hit the pavement. I'm lucky, he's able to fix my lens for about half what it would cost to have Nikon fix it.
