March

March was a busy month; a lot of time was spent looking for jobs and trying to stay on top of things. I did manage to make a picture most every day, and though most are just random images, it's really about only a slice of a day. So many times I had been in places where fantastic images could be made, but sticking to the 4:30 routine, without cheating, means sometimes I do something great in the days, and home in the afternoon. It's just how it is. I realize that when I'm doing something interesting at 4:30 p.m., I'm usually too distracted to make a "powerful" image to post. Looking at Flickr makes a better impression of what I'm doing. My website is in the process of being changed around, thanks to a couple online classes. We'll see how it works.

So April has some promising things coming, the trip to Monterey and San Francisco for social documentary classes, and those classes always afford a chance to make interesting images. We'll see what comes up. Here's to April.
