On June 19 at 4:30 p.m. it was freaky quiet for a Friday evening. A lot of the rehab techs were sitting around and chatting since all their patient's needs had been taken care of for the moment, and there was one nurse, Karen Ramsey, who was getting a urine specimen ready to go to the lab. Karen's a good nurse and a good person, and I'm always glad to see her on the same shift as me. It helps to like the people you work with and I'm lucky in that respect. The group of techs wondering why I would take pictures of pee and not of people, and my only answer was because it was there. June 19, 2009.
