There's a terrain park in the area behind Craig that's used to train people in how to use their wheelchairs to navigate daily mobility challenges. The Mike Utley park is named for a former patient and athlete who embodied the spirit of "Go Forward" and people use it daily. When the park was being built, people could purchase "bricks" for the walkway that paves the area, and of course, the people on 2W showed their sense of humor and philosophical attitude towards the challenges that can come a patient's way. On July 4 at 4:30 p.m. I was taking a break from my shift on 3W and found this little gem in the pavement. July 4, 2009.
