So the verdict came down that no one can bring their laptops or cell phones to work and use them even on breaks. Apparently, people are having FB wars at night and their work isn't getting done. Whatever. I work better when I can distract myself occasionally with a FB post or an email. So, on August 2 at 4:30 p.m. I was knitting. The long 12 hour days need to have something to break them up, especially when I literally can't move from the desk without someone giving me a break. They don't like us to sit at the desk and do projects, but on the weekend, the workload is cut by 90% and there's nothing to do after the chores are done. August 2, 2009.
