August 27

On August 27 at 4:30 p.m. I was writing up a story on the marijuana field that was recently found by US Forest Service near Deckers and turned over to the DEA. Black Hawk helicopters flew over the area and removed the 14,500 plants valued at $4 million dollars. The DEA sent me pictures that haven't been seen before, and the operation is impressive. Ask me why I don't go into the back-country anymore. August 27, 2009
