Kate and Jason came up this evening to bring me my newly repaired Subaru and to have a dinner of roast chicken, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and apple pie. On August 30 at 4:30 p.m., Jason was checking something online and Kate was reading the Sunday paper by the fire. It was a cold and very rainy day, and the fire took the house from 65 degrees to 85 degrees in about an hour. August 30, 2009.
