I picked up an 1100-1900 shift on Sunday, February 8, and at 4:30 p.m.(1630) things were all quiet. Jeff and his trainee were walking by the desk at 3West, and I caught this image. A few minutes after this was taken, things got real busy as we had an admit that came in the night before his surgery. I didn't get a dinner break that evening, and I'm not sure anyone noticed. That's the hazard of working at a hospital, patients come first, employees, last. That wasn't the only thing that bugged me that day; I was irritated someone is now sharing my locker at work, and they had a bag of warm lettuce and tomatoes sitting in it.
