Drew and I agreed to shoot the Metro women's softball game in Colorado Springs on February 21. At 4:30 p.m., we had just pulled up and were getting our gear out of the trunk. This was my first time shooting softball, and I found out the f4 300mm lens shoots only about 2 frames per second as opposed to 8 frames a second on a f2.8 lens.
It was windy, cold and there was a lot of dust, and the girls on the team are pretty aggressive. I wouldn't want to be the opposing team.
