I was playing hooky from the photog's meeting at the Met for Assignment 2 from my Intro to Technical Writing class. I had until 5 p.m. to turn it in, which I think is a horrible time for homework to be due. Eleven p.m. is the only homework deadline that makes sense.
Also, it was a little hard to go downtown today, this was the day they announced that the Rocky Mountain News would publish its last issue tomorrow, Friday. Drew spent the afternoon down at the Denver Newspaper Agency and was there to get the first last copies of the paper. Great guy that he is, he offered to snag one for me. It's a sad day for those of us that love the Rocky, faults and all.
