If I would've been on time, I would have had a great shot of the award ceremony for the Society of Professional Journalism. I wasn't on time and was running late. I was finishing up a project that wasn't going well, and I was frustrated and a little worried about it.
I knew this was going to happen, I'd find that pack of cigarettes and have a smoke. I was a little anxious about going to the awards ceremony, it was an assignment for my Portfolio Presentation class, and I was a little nervous. I wasn't sure what I was going to find, maybe I'd end up standing against the wall, which I rarely do, but still, I was nervous. So, I collected my courage, dressed up nicely and got in my car and headed towards the Brown Palace. On the way, I really enjoyed one of those little skinny cigarettes.
