On April 24 at 4:30 p.m., I was cleaning out the back of my car, a now discontinued Pontiac Grand Prix, and found this interesting juxtaposition of media. Today they announced that GM would be shutting down the Pontiac division, and I've done my best by buying a few Pontiacs since 1997. I bought my first Pontiac when our family could only drive Fords, and in the Anderson family, not driving a Ford is a crime. After the ex left, all kinds of cars showed up in the driveway: VW's, Chevy, International Scout and Jeep. No one has looked back. April 24, 2009.
