On July 23 at 4:30 p.m. I was talking to Drew. He had called while I was taking a nap, and I was calling him back to see what's up in the world of the photo editor. I've been packing stuff up and took things over to Kate's house such as my china, serving plates, ice cream maker, gift wrap and extra roasting pans. I talked to someone today who has a cabin for rent, one with internet, grounded outlets, new roof and appliances. The catch? It's from 1860 and used to be Kit Carson's grandmother's home. I knew I wasn't going to live somewhere urbane, but I can only imagine the how crowded it would be with me, the cats and the 150 years of ghosts. July 23, 2009
